Operations Supervisor - Transport

About the role

Toll Group is looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead day-to-day transport operations at its Northmead site. The role ensures a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. It suits a hands-on transport leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, building customer relationships and delivering operational results.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 10:30pm, with occasional Saturday work during peak times.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily transport operations so that KPIs and customer expectations are met.
• Coordinate workforce planning, fleet requirements and daily load allocations.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing team through effective leadership and communication.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service performance.
• Manage customer relationships and maintain a customer-first mindset.
• Monitor performance, budgets and resource utilisation to support commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience leading transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of transport processes, operational KPIs and service delivery.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence positive culture and drive change.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance obligations and safety leadership.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Must be entitled to work in Australia and ready for pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
