Operations Supervisor – Transport

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day transport operations at our Northmead site. The role ensures a safe, efficient and customer‑focused operation while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily transport operations to meet KPIs and customer expectations.
• Coordinate workforce planning, fleet requirements and daily load allocations.
• Build, coach and develop a high‑performing team through effective leadership and communication.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service performance.
• Manage customer relationships and maintain a customer‑first mindset.
• Monitor performance, budgets and resource utilisation to support commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of transport processes, operational KPIs and service delivery.
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, costing and performance management.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance obligations and safety leadership.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
