Office Operations & Culture Coordinator (6‑Month Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are looking for an Office Operations & Culture Coordinator to provide six‑month maternity cover for our office manager. This part‑time, flexible role supports our development team by keeping the workplace running smoothly and fostering a positive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, welcoming office environment and ensure supplies (coffee, snacks, stationery) are stocked.
• Handle logistical tasks such as vendor coordination, scheduling, and organising team lunches to minimise interruptions for the tech team.
• Onboard new local and remote employees, coordinating introductions, equipment set‑up and documentation.
• Plan and facilitate team meetings, gatherings and cultural events that encourage engagement.
• Respond quickly to unexpected operational issues, providing practical solutions.

Required profile

• High emotional intelligence with the ability to read a room and support teammates under pressure.
• Organised, checklist‑driven yet adaptable when plans change.
• Comfortable learning and using modern workplace tools and communication platforms.
• Genuine desire to remove obstacles so others can focus on their work.
