Office Manager & Receptionist

About the role

Modscape, a builder of sustainable homes and commercial spaces founded in 2006, is looking for an organised, proactive Office Manager and Receptionist for its Queensland workplace in Archerfield, near Archerfield Airport. The role reports to the Construction Manager and works closely with the CFO on office budgets and expenditure. It involves a hands-on approach to keeping the office running smoothly, from facilities and suppliers to team events and visitor reception. The position will relocate to Yatala in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Manage office operations, supplies, meeting rooms, catering and presentation, while providing professional reception and visitor support
• Coordinate facilities, maintenance, suppliers and service providers, follow up requests and support workplace setup and relocation
• Obtain quotes, arrange approved purchases, check invoices and track office expenditure with the CFO
• Plan company events, team functions and employee celebrations, including bookings, communications and attendance
• Coordinate staff travel and accommodation, and support new starters' workstations, equipment, uniforms and PPE

Required profile

• Experience in office management, office coordination or senior office administration
• Practical experience coordinating office facilities, suppliers and service providers
• Experience organising company events, team activities or internal functions
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, initiative and practical problem-solving
• Professional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, visitors and suppliers
• Full working rights in Australia; Modscape does not offer visa sponsorship

Required skills

• Confidence using Microsoft Office and office systems
• Discretion when handling confidential information
