Occupational Therapist Graduate – Early Start Australia

About the role

The Graduate Occupational Therapist will join Early Start Australia's Toowoomba clinic, supporting children with developmental milestones and behavioural goals. You will work across clinic, community and telehealth settings with strong mentorship and training.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children to achieve fine motor, hand‑eye coordination and daily living skills.
• Educate and involve parents, carers and other stakeholders in therapy plans.
• Support children with developmental delays in everyday tasks such as dressing, feeding and personal hygiene.
• Help manage behavioural issues using positive strategies and activity‑based interventions.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduation.
• Graduated within the last 12 months or expected graduation early 2026.
• Valid driver’s licence with own vehicle and appropriate insurance.
• Current Working with Children Check, Police Check and willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Screening, First Aid and CPR certification.
