About the role
Join Early Start Australia as an Occupational Therapy Graduate and help children develop independence, confidence and everyday life skills through evidence‑based therapy.
Key responsibilities
- Support children to achieve developmental milestones such as fine motor skills, handwriting, self‑care and school readiness.
- Educate parents, carers and teachers to continue skill development beyond therapy sessions.
- Develop emotional regulation and positive behavioural strategies across home, school and community settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
Required profile
- Degree in Occupational Therapy with eligibility for AHPRA registration.
- Recent graduate or graduating early 2027, with a current driver’s licence and vehicle access.
- Willingness to obtain WWVP registration, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions for children.
- Ability to create tailored therapy plans aligned with individual goals.
