Graduate Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join Early Start Australia’s 12‑month graduate program as an Occupational Therapist, working within a close‑knit allied health team to support children and families. You’ll receive structured induction, clinical supervision and mentorship to transition from student to independent clinician.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and manage a varied caseload using a client‑centred approach.
• Design, implement and adjust individualised therapy programs across clinic, home, school and community settings.
• Collaborate with families, allied health professionals and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment notes and ensure compliance with funding requirements such as NDIS plans.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
• Current driver’s licence, vehicle, Working with Children Check and police checks.
• Strong communication, organisational and report writing skills.

Required skills

• Accredited First Aid certification.
• CPR certification.
