Occupancy Planning Manager

About the role

JLL is seeking an Occupancy Planning Manager to lead strategic space planning for clients across Australia, New Zealand and potentially Southeast Asia. You will combine data analysis, occupancy forecasting and cross‑functional collaboration to optimise workplace efficiency and support future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2‑3‑year city and building level supply‑and‑demand models and scenario plans.
• Track and manage space and occupancy data in IWMS and related platforms, ensuring data quality.
• Design innovative space solutions by analysing utilisation patterns, demand forecasts and occupancy trends.
• Handle tactical planning activities such as block‑and‑stack plans, site stacking options and move requests.
• Partner with facilities teams on moves, audits, vacancy management and change‑management initiatives.
• Provide strategic campus and building forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Maintain practice‑area space data, supply‑demand analysis and growth projections for ANZ.
• Respond to GUTS tickets, produce monthly management reports and ad‑hoc analytics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in space planning, occupancy planning, workplace strategy or corporate real‑estate management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) and strong PowerPoint presentation ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and balance competing priorities.
