Non-Financial Risk Reporting Automation Lead

About the role

Macquarie is looking for a Reporting Transformation and Automation Lead within its Non-Financial Risk Reporting team in Sydney. The role leads strategic transformation initiatives that modernise processes, reporting and analytical capabilities so that key risk metrics are measured more effectively and insights support sound risk decisions. It is a permanent, full-time, mid-senior position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead transformation initiatives that reshape and rationalise existing reports, consolidate reporting assets and strengthen the use and advice on Non-Financial Risk data.
• Shape and evolve the data, reporting and analytics capability, using automation and emerging technologies to simplify and improve ways of working.
• Help establish consistent reporting practices and stakeholder engagement approaches.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, analytics and automation to improve governance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience leading transformation, reporting or data-led change initiatives, simplifying and improving complex or manual processes.
• Strong data and analytical capability, with experience turning data into insights that support decision-making.
• Experience identifying and implementing AI and automation opportunities across reporting and operational processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work through change and ambiguity, bringing clarity and structure to complex initiatives.
