Night Shift Maintenance Technician – RME

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team at the Cranbourne Fulfilment Centre. Working the night shift, you will keep material handling, packaging and distribution equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a live warehouse environment.
• Implement long‑term solutions to minimise future downtime.
• Use specialised tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Follow and promote health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Formal trade qualification: Certificate III in Electrotechnology with a current electrical licence, or Certificate III in Engineering, or Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner). Equivalent Australian qualifications accepted.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Proven fault‑finding ability on material handling or automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
