New Graduate Small Animal Veterinarian

About the role

Gympie Veterinary Services is seeking a newly qualified small‑animal veterinarian to join its full‑time team. You will work in a modern hospital with multiple consult rooms, surgical suites and state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic equipment, providing 100% companion‑animal care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine desexings, dental procedures and general health checks.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical cases using on‑site digital X‑ray, ultrasound and laboratory facilities.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call duties, supported by a Teletriage service.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic new graduate eager to build a career in a regional practice.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Willingness to seek mentorship, accept feedback and engage in continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital X‑ray imaging.
• Experience using ultrasound equipment.
• Competence in advanced dental procedures.
