Network Engineer – Enterprise Voice & Data

About the role

The Network Engineer is a key member of HammondCare’s IT team, responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining voice and data communication services to ensure maximum availability and performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and optimise enterprise voice, data and network security services.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for telephony, networking and security issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams and standards.
• Act as primary liaison with carriers, vendors and service providers.
• Lead network infrastructure projects, upgrades and technology refreshes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer or Senior Network Engineer.
• Demonstrated commitment to HammondCare’s mission and values.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with enterprise voice, SD‑WAN, WAN and VoIP technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, firewalls and Azure networking.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki and Sophos platforms.
• Understanding of network security, authentication and cloud voice services.
