NDIS Support Coordinator - Rockhampton

About the role

Community Solutions Group, which delivers Support Coordination, Behaviour Support and Psychology services across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, is looking for an NDIS Support Coordinator for a full-time permanent position in Rockhampton. The role helps NDIS participants achieve greater independence by assessing their needs, identifying the services and supports needed to reach their goals, coordinating their supports and removing barriers through action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with participants, their families and external service providers
• Drive to visit participants as required
• Help participants negotiate with providers and understand what they can expect to spend from their NDIS budget
• Work with billable hours and targets, and ensure service agreements are completed
• Take a holistic approach to capacity building and help participants overcome their barriers

Required profile

• Previous experience working with, and a thorough understanding of, the NDIS, including NDIS Plans and Budgets
• Experience with billing targets and case noting
• Disability sector experience preferred, with the ability to build rapport with participants, families and providers
• A business mindset, customer service focus and excellent time management and organisation skills

Required skills

• High-level administration experience
• Compliance capabilities
• IT skills, particularly with Excel
