National Learning & Development Consultant
Nexia Australia
Job description
About the role
Nexia Australia is looking for an experienced L&D leader to lead the implementation of its learning strategy across a network of independently operated firms. The role is newly created, suits someone who enjoys building, influencing and delivering, and allows you to work from any Nexia office in Australia. It is a three-day-a-week position with a fixed term of 12 months, with possible extension.
Key responsibilities
- Turn the national L&D strategy into a clear roadmap with priorities, milestones and measures of success.
- Review learning programs, pathways, providers, platforms and investment to identify gaps, reduce duplication and scale what works.
- Design and deliver national programs covering technical excellence, leadership, people management, advisory capability, digital and AI skills, onboarding and career development.
- Create engaging learning experiences using adult learning and instructional design principles.
- Build relationships with partners, firm leaders, subject matter experts and People & Culture teams.
- Facilitate workshops and working groups to turn diverse perspectives into shared priorities and action.
- Partner with the global learning team and external providers.
- Set up simple governance and reporting on participation, outcomes and value, and recommend actions to senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Experienced L&D, talent or organisational development professional able to operate strategically while delivering.
- Comfortable working autonomously, owning priorities and driving work forward with minimal direction.
- Able to make progress in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with credibility and sound judgement in senior conversations.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
What we offer
- Direct access to senior leaders and the chance to influence decisions.
- A flexible three-day working week from any Nexia office in Australia.
- Health, wellbeing and employee assistance benefits, supported by a collaborative national community.
To apply, submit your CV and a short note describing the impact you have made through a significant learning or capability initiative. Applications are confidential and only Australian citizens or permanent residents will be considered.
