National Account Manager – Petrol & Convenience

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager to own and grow key national accounts within the Petrol & Convenience channel for a leading Australian beverage manufacturer. You will work closely with distributors and retailers to drive sales, market share and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand key Petrol & Convenience accounts and distributor partnerships.
• Develop and execute joint business plans aligned with customer and company objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities to increase distribution and market share.
• Deliver sales, revenue and profit targets.
• Lead promotional planning, forecasting and trade‑spend management.
• Analyse channel performance, market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with supply chain, demand planning and finance to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Account Manager in FMCG.
• Exposure to Petrol & Convenience, Route, Grocery or Wholesale channels.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing trade spend and profitability.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with confidence using data to drive decisions.
• Proactive, growth‑focused attitude and ability to spot new opportunities.
