National Account Manager – Independents

About the role

Lead Chobani’s partnership with Metcash and shape the Independent Grocery channel across Australia. Own customer strategy, drive commercial performance and collaborate with sales, supply chain, marketing and field teams to turn plans into results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Joint Business Planning discussions and range reviews with senior Metcash stakeholders.
• Analyse promotional performance, forecast demand and solve operational challenges.
• Align State Account Managers and merchandising partners behind national plans.
• Build trusted relationships, influence decisions and navigate challenging commercial conversations.

Required profile

• Direct Metcash experience and strong understanding of the Independent Grocery landscape.
• Proven success managing senior customer relationships and commercial performance.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment where ownership matters.
