Migration Assistant

About the role

Nepcoms Services is looking for a detail‑oriented Migration Assistant to support its Sydney‑based Migration Team from an offshore location. This full‑time position offers the chance to work closely with experienced Registered Migration Agents on a variety of Australian visa matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and case‑processing support to the Sydney Migration Team.
• Assist in preparing Australian visa and nomination applications (e.g., 482, 186, 485, skilled, partner, student).
• Prepare document checklists, organise client files and review documents for completeness.
• Complete application forms and compile files for review by Registered Migration Agents.
• Follow up with clients for missing information and draft routine correspondence.
• Conduct basic migration research as directed.
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and monitor important dates.
• Ensure documents are correctly named, organised and stored.
• Coordinate closely with the Sydney team to progress matters efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in migration, visa processing, legal administration or a similar role (highly desirable).
• Basic understanding of Australian visa processes and documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and checklists.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working remotely with a Sydney‑based team.
