Senior Associate / Special Counsel – Wills & Estates

About the role

Join McCullough Robertson’s Wills and Estates team in Sydney to work on sophisticated matters for high‑net‑worth individuals, families and family offices, handling complex structuring, litigation and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage own files on complex wills, estates, trusts and succession matters for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Provide estate litigation support including family provision claims, contested probate and trust disputes.
• Collaborate with junior lawyers and other practice groups to deliver integrated, commercially focused advice.

Required profile

• Minimum five years post‑admission experience in wills, estates, trusts or succession law.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close‑knit team.
• Commercially minded, solutions‑focused and confident leading matters.

Required skills

• Estate litigation (family provision claims, contested probate, trust litigation).
• Estate planning (testamentary trusts, succession plans, trust and superannuation document review).
• Estate administration (grants of representation, managing deceased estates from start to finish).
