Mid-Market Sales Manager

About the role

Block is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives and drive growth through talent development, data‑driven coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Hire and develop Account Executives capable of handling complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Coach the team using real‑time pipeline diagnostics and forecasting to ensure predictable growth.
• Co‑sell on high‑value opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders and shaping pricing and deal structure.
• Establish operating rhythms for forecasting, pipeline management and business reviews.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Enablement, Operations, Partnerships and Product to improve the customer journey.

Required profile

• 6+ years of sales management experience with complex, multi‑stakeholder accounts.
• Proven ability to hire, ramp and retain high‑performing Account Executives.
• Track record of developing strong performers into leaders of larger deals.
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple functions and ability to inspire change.
• Experience creating structured sales metrics and achieving forecast accuracy on long‑cycle deals.
