Mergers & Acquisitions Integration Manager

About the role

As Repurpose It grows through strategic acquisitions, it is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Integration Manager in Melbourne. Reporting to senior leadership, the role leads the planning and execution of post-acquisition integration projects across multiple business functions, combining project management, stakeholder leadership and business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Repurpose It group.
• Manage cross-functional projects involving Operations, Finance, IT, HR, Procurement and Compliance teams.
• Develop and execute integration plans, timelines and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate stakeholders so that key integration milestones are achieved.
• Drive Day One readiness and seamless business transitions.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Track integration outcomes, synergies and value realisation.
• Support the ongoing development of the group's M&A integration capability and playbooks.

Required profile

• Experience leading M&A integration, transformation or large-scale business projects.
• Commercially minded project leader able to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in complex environments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and maintain momentum.
• Hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge, collaborate and deliver results.
• Experience in waste, recycling, infrastructure, construction, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational industries is highly regarded.
