Small Business Cashflow Specialist

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Small Business Cashflow Specialist to join its Docklands team in Melbourne. You will connect with new and existing managed small business customers by phone, understand their business aspirations and support their immediate cashflow needs. The role is open to people with a passion for customer service who want to start a career in commercial banking, and it is seen as a foundation for more technical lending and relationship management positions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls and hold needs-based conversations through an A-Review platform
• Submit commercial credit cards from application to fulfillment
• Provide guidance and tailored, solution-based recommendations to meet customers' end-to-end requirements
• Take ownership of customer resolutions and use stakeholder communication to achieve outcomes in a timely way
• Identify additional customer needs and refer them to the right channel, such as Home Lending or Business Lending
• Collaborate with the team and contribute to a high-performance culture

Required profile

• Ideal professional phone manner and etiquette
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow a structured roster and operating rhythm
• Understanding of small business and commercial markets
• Reliable character and a desire to approach every task with urgency
• Knowledge of ANZ procedures, products and services is desired but not essential

New hires complete internal Commercial Banking Induction and Foundation Credit courses to learn the systems and platforms of the SME Division. The position is permanent, full time (40 hours per week) at 839 Collins St, Docklands, Melbourne.
