About the role
Veritus Research is seeking a dedicated Medical Officer to join its 50‑bed clinical trial site in Bayswater, VIC. The position can be part‑time or full‑time and is based on‑site, providing direct medical oversight for early‑phase human clinical trials.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and monitor health conditions of trial participants.
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical trial protocols and safety standards.
- Support physicians in evaluating and executing trial procedures.
- Deliver medical training and knowledge‑sharing sessions to staff as required.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety requirements throughout the trial lifecycle.
Required profile
- Qualified medical practitioner registered with the relevant medical board.
- Demonstrated expertise in medicine and patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective interaction with staff and participants.
- Experience in training and knowledge‑sharing within clinical settings.
- Experience in clinical trials is advantageous but not mandatory.
