About the role
ACCIONA’s Mechanical & Electrical team supports major civil, water and industrial infrastructure projects across Melbourne. As a Mechanical Fitter you will perform maintenance and installation work both at the Port Melbourne workshop and on various site locations, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Install and maintain heavy metal structures and pipework according to specifications.
- Fit and assemble mechanical components, using precision tools to measure and verify work.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate execution.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and service plant and equipment to minimise downtime.
- Work safely at heights, on scaffolds and in confined spaces, adhering to WHS rules.
Required profile
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a current driver’s licence.
- At least 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
- High‑Risk Work Licence (EWP) is an advantage.
Required skills
