Mechanical Engineer – Minerals Processing (Adelaide)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals Processing Brownfields team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead, you will develop mechanical design solutions and deliver design documentation from concept through detailed design for our energy, chemicals and mineral processing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, engineering scopes and other design documentation.
• Perform mechanical and piping design calculations and analysis.
• Develop mechanical and piping design concepts.
• Liaise with equipment vendors to obtain inputs for engineering design.
• Provide engineering inputs to 3D modelling and 2D drawing production.
• Execute tasks in line with project budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design/consultancy environment.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clear technical writing skills.
