Materials Coordination Supervisor

About the role

Monadelphous is seeking a Materials Coordination Supervisor to support its PNG Operations team until mid‑2028. The role starts in the Brisbane office and moves on‑site in Papua New Guinea on a FIFO 4:4 roster, overseeing stores, warehousing, tooling and logistics to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the operational team to meet safety, performance and service targets.
• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, inventory control and stock management.
• Oversee warehousing activities including receiving, storage and dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate material inspections to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
• Maintain tooling assets, covering maintenance, availability, tracking and utilisation.
• Organise logistics to guarantee timely movement and delivery of supplies.
• Support procurement through supplier coordination, material planning and purchasing processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Storeperson/Storeman in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong background in warehousing, logistics and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate movement of materials, equipment and tooling.
• Understanding of warehouse processes, stock control systems and supply‑chain operations.
• Experience in engineering, construction or resources sectors is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and right‑to‑work in Australia.

Required skills

• SiteSense or similar Materials Management System.
• Warehouse inventory control systems.
