About the role
Amazon Web Services is seeking a motivated Logistics Associate to support data‑centre operations. You will manage the on‑site parts room, handle hardware custody, and work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain inventory levels to support build and repair activities.
- Physically receive, issue, load, unload and transport parts for internal customers.
- Perform accurate stock record keeping through regular cycle counts.
- Apply Amazon 7S principles to keep workspaces safe, organized and clean.
- Travel up to 3‑4 times per week across Melbourne metro sites using personal transport (reimbursed) to conduct counts, replenish stock and return defective items.
Required profile
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and uphold operational excellence.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Capability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the role.
Required skills
- Inventory control system usage.
- Knowledge of Amazon 7S workplace principles.
