Marketing Manager - Defence, Aerospace & Public Sector

About the role

Six Degrees Executive is recruiting a Marketing Manager for its partner, a global strategic consultancy with a 25-year history of change and transformation programmes in public health, defence, aerospace, energy and infrastructure. This is the first full-time marketing role in Australia, reporting to business leadership and working with the Australian leadership team and a global marketing team to shape market position and drive growth in the Defence, Aerospace and Public sector markets. The role is fully remote initially, with annual travel to the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Design marketing strategies and lead delivery of engaging, multi-channel campaigns
• Shape and lead communications strategies for large engagement programmes and strategic partnerships
• Work with sector teams and internal and external creative resources to produce messaging, content and creative for c-suite audiences
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders, advisors, clients and key sector partners
• Own and grow industry partnerships and create new ones
• Create and lead a coordinated approach to industry events and conferences

Required profile

• Significant marketing management experience in B2B professional services, focused on high-value sales and complex propositions
• Proven track record designing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns
• Event management experience building c-suite relationships
• Self-sufficient marketer with a strong B2B professional services background, comfortable leading strategy and hands-on

Required skills

• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
• Creative acumen, including briefing and working alongside design agencies
• Strong organisation and project leadership skills
