Marketing, Communication & Engagement Manager

About the role

The Communications, Marketing and Engagement Manager will support Shepparton Villages’ communication and engagement activities while providing professional coordination for the CEO, Executive Team and designated committees. This dynamic position requires a proactive, highly organised professional who can thrive in a fast‑paced, issue‑rich environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic communication advice to the CEO and senior managers.
• Manage regular communication channels such as web content, social media, CEO newsletters, video, and newspaper commentary.
• Liaise with Lifestyle & Leisure teams and other departments to enhance information‑sharing and cross‑team support.
• Conduct reputation management activities and other duties as directed by the CEO.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, Public Relations or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing or communications, including brand management and community engagement.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels within a complex, people‑focused environment.
• Experience in the aged‑care, health or not‑for‑profit sector is desirable.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Website management and online content creation.
• Social media and e‑marketing expertise.
• Video production and editing basics.
