Manager – Transaction Services (Mid‑Market Deals)

About the role

KPMG Mid‑Market & Private is seeking a Manager to join its Transaction Services team. You will work with high‑growth, private and mid‑market clients, providing end‑to‑end M&A support throughout the deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial due‑diligence engagements for high‑growth clients.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify performance metrics and value drivers.
• Engage with clients on business performance, cash‑flow forecasts and valuation drivers.
• Assess historical trading, quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, capital expenditure and underlying assumptions.
• Prepare and review client‑ready deliverables, including reports and presentations for senior leadership.

• Commercially minded, resilient and enthusiastic team player.
• Strong work ethic with an open, curious mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, able to distil complex concepts into clear written and verbal messages.
• Ability to think critically, identify issues and propose strategic solutions.

Required skills

• Financial due‑diligence methodology.
• Financial analysis and modelling.
• Understanding of M&A transaction processes.
• Experience reviewing Sale and Purchase Agreements and related accounting matters.
