Manager, South East Queensland Region

About the role

The Regional Implementation Team is seeking a senior manager to lead outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Logan, Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Redlands. You will sit on the regional leadership team, shaping coordination and supporting whole‑of‑government service delivery for the ATSIP division.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between Indigenous communities and government agencies, fostering trusted partnerships.
• Lead a high‑performing team to deliver regional initiatives, including the Economic Participation Framework and Indigenous Business Month.
• Monitor regional trends, identify emerging issues and advise senior executives with evidence‑based briefs and reports.
• Oversee regional operations, ensuring effective stewardship of human, financial and physical resources.
• Drive cross‑agency collaboration, negotiate complex stakeholder engagements and support policy and program design.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior leadership or management within government or community‑focused organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain partnerships with Indigenous communities and multiple government agencies.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor outcomes, manage risk and provide strategic advice.
• Commitment to cultural safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
