About the role
The UNIQLO Management Trainee (UMT) Internship is an 8‑week paid program running from 30 November 2026 to 22 January 2027. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in a flagship store, working closely with store leaders on daily operations and a dedicated project.
Key responsibilities
- Assist store management with customer service, staff development and business analysis.
- Deliver a project aimed at improving internal morale, brand awareness, app downloads or signage and present findings to senior leaders.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, graduating between March 2027 and Dec 2027.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Available to work full‑time (38 hrs/week) in VIC or NSW, including weekends and peak dates in December.
- Strong interest in retail and the UNIQLO Management Candidate Graduate Program.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving and quick learning abilities.
- Previous retail or leadership experience is desirable.
