Maintenance Manager

About the role

NRMA Parks & Resorts is looking for a Maintenance Manager for its Forster-Tuncurry Holiday Park, located on Worimi Nation. You will lead the maintenance team, keep the park in top condition and own the budget side of the department so guests enjoy great stays.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance department budget: monitor spend against budget and forecast, keep costs within targets and explain monthly variances and departmental performance
• Manage purchase orders in line with delegation of authority, sourcing quotes and negotiating with contractors while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through better products, improved processes and well-planned maintenance
• Contribute to annual budget and CAPEX planning for park assets, upgrades and major projects
• Manage labour costs and roster the maintenance team to balance operational demand with budgeted wage targets
• Lead, coach and support the team, ensure compliance with safety standards and park policies, and oversee grounds, facilities and amenities including swimming pool operations and maintenance

Required profile

• Experience in maintenance management, facilities management or a similar operational role
• Confident working with budgets, forecasts and financial reports
• Organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with clear communication with team, contractors and leaders
• Cares about guest experience and a well-presented, safe environment
• Swimming pool maintenance experience (water quality, filtration systems, safe operation) and a trade qualification such as builder or carpenter are highly regarded
• Experience in holiday parks, resorts or hotels is highly regarded but not essential
