Machine Operator – 4 on 4 off Rotating Roster

About the role

James Hardie is seeking a safety‑focused Machine Operator & Forklift Driver to join its Rosehill manufacturing site. You will operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinery on a rotating 4‑on‑4‑off roster, contributing to the production of high‑quality building products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting equipment, set up moulds, tooling and machine fixtures.
• Adjust grinding and cutting machinery, monitor production processes, and ensure efficiency and performance targets are met.
• Conduct quality checks, follow production schedules, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform manual handling tasks and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in line with WHS policies.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality‑focused environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster of two 12‑hour day shifts and two 12‑hour night shifts.
