Long Term Locum ICU Registrar – Night Shift in Regional Victoria

About the role

This is a night‑shift locum position for an ICU Registrar in a busy regional hospital in southwest Victoria. The role offers a structured 7‑nights‑on / 7‑nights‑off roster, providing a strong work‑life balance while delivering high‑acuity critical care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overnight ICU coverage within a supportive critical‑care team.
• Manage a broad range of ICU presentations, including ventilated patients.
• Work independently with senior support available for complex cases.
• Document patient care accurately and hand over to day‑shift teams.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Experience at ICU Registrar level.
• Ability to work independently overnight.
• Willingness to engage with senior clinicians for supervision.
