Logistics Manager

About the role

Buzz is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a small team in managing inbound and outbound freight, ensuring delivery schedules are met on time and within budget. The role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and supporting the team while building strong relationships with freight forwarders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all inbound and outbound freight operations to meet delivery targets.
• Coach and develop a logistics team to achieve set objectives.
• Select and manage freight forwarder partners, negotiating rates and terms.
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage challenging shipping lanes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience managing and developing a logistics team.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience with a global freight landscape and delivering to DIFOT targets.
• Proven track record of process improvement and freight cost reduction.
• Knowledge of compliance, customs requirements, and complex shipping routes.
• Negotiation experience with freight forwarders.
