Fleet Controller

About the role

Lev Logistics is seeking a full‑time Fleet Controller to be based on‑site in Bundoora, VIC. You will coordinate daily transport operations across the company’s modern fleet, ensuring containers move efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch trucks, allocating drivers and equipment.
• Monitor container movements using GPS and freight management systems.
• Liaise with clients, drivers and internal teams to provide accurate updates and manage delays.
• Implement contingency plans when issues arise.
• Maintain transport records and optimise route efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and dangerous‑goods requirements.
• Support wharf runs and contribute to continuous improvement in communication and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to interpret fleet data and performance metrics.
• Understanding of transport‑related finance, cost control and basic budgeting.
• Excellent communication for clear coordination with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain and operations management to oversee container movements and resource allocation.
• Experience in transport, logistics or freight operations, preferably container or wharf services.
• Relevant qualifications in logistics, transport, business or related fields are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Melbourne and Victorian transport routes and regulations.
