Locum Dentist – Australia‑wide Opportunities

About the role

Abano Healthcare is seeking AHPRA‑registered dentists for locum placements across Australia. You can choose short‑term or longer assignments in metro, regional or coastal practices, enjoying flexibility and strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning across general dentistry.
• Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions and urgent care, aligned with your clinical experience.
• Manage patient flow, prioritise emergencies and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, oral health therapists and support staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years practising dentistry in Australia.
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Ability to work independently in general and emergency dentistry.

Required skills

• General dentistry procedures.
• Emergency dentistry techniques.
