About the role
Hamilton Locke is seeking a commercially astute Litigation Lawyer to join its high‑performing national disputes team in Sydney. You will work on complex, high‑value matters and collaborate directly with senior leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Litigate complex contractual and commercial claims.
- Represent head contractors and subcontractors in infrastructure and construction disputes.
- Handle insolvency, restructuring, shareholder oppression and partnership disputes.
- Defend regulatory investigations and prosecutions, including ASIC matters.
- Advise boards and officers on corporate governance and risk analysis.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years practising as a lawyer with litigation experience.
- Strong interest in disputes, investigations and regulatory matters.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with ability to manage competing priorities.
- Commercial mindset and client‑service orientation.
Required skills
- Experience in commercial and contractual litigation.
- Knowledge of construction, infrastructure, insolvency and regulatory law.
