Licensing Sales Representative

About the role

APRA AMCOS is a music rights management organisation that licenses music for use by businesses such as bars, gyms, cafés and hair salons. Its OneMusic initiative provides licences covering the majority of commercially released music worldwide. The Licensing Representative is based in the Ultimo office and proactively engages with businesses to explain how music creators are paid for the performance of their work, understand their licensing needs and provide licensing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly call and sales targets.
• Build rapport with customers to understand their licensing needs and identify solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on leads within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with internal teams on customer onboarding and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a call centre or phone-based sales environment.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage and influence.
• Driven by sales targets and able to work to KPIs.
• Resilient, self-motivated and solutions focused.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Solid computer, research and data entry skills.
• Prior experience with CRM software is highly regarded.
