Legal Counsel – In‑house role with leading Australian truck brand

About the role

Join the in‑house legal team of Australia’s leading truck brand as a Legal Counsel. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support the leadership team on a wide range of commercial, regulatory and dispute matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice across contracts, procurement, IP/IT, privacy, HR and dispute resolution.
• Assist the General Counsel in identifying and mitigating legal risks for the business.
• Work on varied matters including consumer, competition, litigation and corporate issues.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of post‑qualification experience in a top‑10 private practice firm or comparable in‑house role.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: litigation, consumer law, competition, commercial contracting, IT/IP or employment law.

Required skills

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret complex legal documents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
