Legal & Compliance Specialist (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Legal & Compliance Specialist will join the ANZ organisation on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance. The role supports proactive identification, assessment and management of legal and compliance risks, and helps deliver compliant, efficient and commercially‑sound outcomes across the ANZ business.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deliver legal and compliance training programmes, both in‑person and virtually, and provide ongoing coaching to business stakeholders.
• Guide offshore compliance review teams with ANZ‑specific guidance, answer queries and suggest process improvements.
• Monitor changes to medical‑technology industry codes and relevant regulations, translating them into practical local guidance.
• Act as a trusted business partner, supporting compliant interactions with customers and third parties.
• Review legal and commercial contracts, identify change‑management opportunities and improve contracting processes.
• Assess promotional and external‑facing materials for legal and compliance risks and recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain and IT teams to provide legal and compliance input.
• Support regional and global Legal & Compliance projects, including AI‑enabled tools and process optimisation initiatives.
