Lean Construction Engineer for Snowy 2.0 Project

About the role

The Lean Construction Engineer will act as the bridge between design, planning and execution on the Snowy 2.0 pumped‑hydro project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders, run weekly progress meetings and ensure seamless workflow across all trades.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily briefings and weekly meetings with subcontractors, trades and project managers to track progress and resolve issues.
• Review construction methods, drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets and resource plans using Primavera P6.
• Monitor on‑site progress, conduct inspections, manage risk registers and produce weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with procurement and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (or related field) and a valid White Card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in large‑scale construction operations with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, engineering plans and technical documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with project scheduling software, specifically Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of quality plans and Inspection Test Plans for electromechanical, HVAC and MEP works.
• Strong construction planning, multi‑trade coordination and risk management capabilities.
