Leader of Supply Chain Operations

About the role

Join Miele's Supply Chain team as Leader of Supply Chain Operations, overseeing warehouse, transport and operational logistics activities across our Melbourne location.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee warehouse, shipping, transportation and reverse logistics operations, including third‑party logistics providers.
• Build and maintain efficient operational processes across warehousing and transport, focusing on service, cost and performance.
• Coordinate transport and warehouse activity with Planning, Forecasting, Stock and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless end‑to‑end operations.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify inefficiencies and implement initiatives to improve service, productivity and cost performance.
• Lead, coach and develop the operational workforce while promoting a safe, engaged and high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience across warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end warehouse, transport and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and third‑party logistics partners to achieve performance outcomes.
• Strong commercial and cost‑management mindset with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience with ERP systems.
