Laboratory Supervisor (Mackay)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Mackay laboratory, delivering high‑quality testing services for fuels, oil & petrochemicals and coal.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform calibration activities and maintain quality systems.
• Participate in continuous process‑improvement programmes.
• Roster staff and schedule work to meet client timeliness and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in coal sampling, laboratory and analysis procedures.
• Supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.
• Working knowledge of laboratory tests.
• QLD C‑class manual driver’s licence and own transport.
• Higher School Certificate with work experience or an Associate Diploma in Applied Science, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Degree in Chemistry is desirable.
