Knowledge Lawyer – Flexible Legal Knowledge Role

About the role

The Knowledge Lawyer will support lawyers across the firm by providing up‑to‑date legal insights, templates and training, allowing them to focus on client work without the pressure of billable‑hour targets.

Key responsibilities

• Review, improve and maintain a suite of templates, precedents and clause banks to ensure legal and commercial relevance.
• Capture, analyse and share legal and regulatory developments through knowledge databases, topic guides and internal updates.
• Assist in the design and delivery of training programmes and briefings for lawyers.
• Collaborate with transformation teams to enhance accessibility, usability and automation of legal resources, including AI tools.

Required profile

• Mid‑ to senior‑level lawyer with strong experience in M&A, private transactions, joint ventures or corporate reorganisations.
• Excellent drafting, legal writing and analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
• Proactive, highly organised and service‑oriented with a genuine interest in knowledge management and legal innovation.
