Kitchen Attendant

About the role

Hotel Woolstore 1888, a heritage hotel in Darling Harbour, Sydney, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Attendant. The role suits someone who enjoys keeping a kitchen clean and organised and supporting food preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean the kitchen, food preparation areas, scullery and pantries, in line with health and hygiene standards
• Help with food preparation, stock rotation and keeping fridges, freezers and storage areas clean
• Support receiving, storing and organising stock so kitchen operations run smoothly

Required profile

• Service-oriented with an eye for detail
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with team members at all levels
• Flexible and able to adapt to change
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
• Able to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays

• Time management and the ability to multitask
• Health and hygiene awareness in the kitchen
