Key Account Manager – Fashion & Lifestyle

About the role

The position is with a global fashion and lifestyle business, based in Sydney, responsible for major retail accounts across Australia and New Zealand. You will act as a trusted partner to leading retailers, managing budgets, sales targets and in‑store brand execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with major retail partners, including buyers and senior stakeholders.
• Own account budgets, P&L performance and sales targets, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Lead seasonal planning, forward‑ordering, range presentations and buying cycles.
• Identify growth opportunities, expand brand distribution and unlock new commercial avenues.
• Visit stores regularly to ensure brand standards, product presentation and in‑store execution.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor trends and share insights with internal teams.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, merchandise, marketing and product teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key, national or senior account management within fashion, footwear, apparel, accessories or consumer lifestyle sectors.
• Commercially driven with a strong track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Comfortable travelling across Australia and New Zealand and managing a diverse portfolio autonomously.
• Ambitious, relationship‑focused and motivated to grow accounts rather than merely maintain them.
