Junior Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Junior Social Media Manager to join our fast‑growing sister agency, Serious About Socials, in Wollongong. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with diverse brands, create engaging content, and develop your digital marketing career in a supportive, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit photo and short‑form video content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Produce Reels, TikToks and other short videos using tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro.
• Schedule posts and write captions that reflect each client’s brand voice.
• Assist on content shoots, client days and community engagement.
• Research trends, audio and content ideas to keep campaigns fresh.
• Support monthly reporting, analytics and brainstorming of campaign concepts.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for social media and content creation.
• Comfortable filming with an iPhone or camera and appearing on‑camera.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and take initiative.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence with reliable transport for occasional shoots in Illawarra and Sydney.

• CapCut (or similar video editing software).
• Premiere Pro.
• Canva.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Meta Business Suite.
