About the role
Synechron is seeking a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join its testing team. The role focuses on manual testing of web, mobile, and enterprise applications within the banking, finance, and payments domain.
Required profile
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required skills
- Manual testing of web, mobile or enterprise applications.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Creating test scenarios, test cases and test data.
- Knowledge of regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
- Basic SQL for database validation.
- API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr or ALM.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts (optional).
