Junior Industry Capability & Inclusion Analyst

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Junior Industry Capability & Inclusion Analyst to support the Southern Program Alliance rail upgrade project in Melbourne. The role focuses on accurate reporting, robust data management, and practical support for procurement and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and reconcile Industry Capability & Inclusion (ICI) data with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain structured datasets and upload information to client and internal systems.
• Prepare and cleanse data for audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in partnership with the ICI Lead.
• Maintain historical data for reporting and analysis, identifying and escalating data risks.
• Manage procurement schedules and reporting trackers.
• Research and record social enterprises and Indigenous suppliers, providing regular opportunity updates.
• Serve as the primary contact for ICI data queries, handling inbox enquiries and escalating issues as needed.
• Assist with the delivery of ICI initiatives, events, and cultural activities, contributing data insights to communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar data‑focused role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Experience supporting audit and reporting processes.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including data cleansing, complex formulas, and large dataset management.
